We had a quick overnight stay at Ibis Styles Canberra Eagle Hawk while visiting family, and it offered great value for money. The kids enjoyed the pool and playground amidst the cute bunnies. While the restaurant staff worked hard, we had a mix of service experiences. The room was adequate for our family, but the breakfast and some cleanliness aspects need improvement. it’s a pleasant spot for families.

A Wonderful Stay in Canberra
I recently visited the Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve and was eager to experience its beautiful trails and rich wildlife. Choosing Ibis Styles for its proximity to this landmark was a wonderful decision! The friendly staff were helpful and made my trip even more enjoyable. I loved the range of facilities available, especially the Wintergarden Restaurant with lovely views overlooking the landscaped gardens. The buffet breakfast was deliciously diverse, providing a great start to my day as I set out to explore Canberra, a city that continues to surprise and delight.
The hotel is located far from the city center.

The peaceful surroundings were a bonus, with wildlife like kangaroos and playful rabbits nearby. Bed was very comfortable and room service meal very good.
Most staff at reception desk not very warm. The only warm and responsive staff member at reception was a female who had arrived only the previous week.

The reception staff were great. the location of the hotel is secluded and next to a gift shop. I enjoyed dining at the garden restaurant near the hotel.

The resort is just out of Canberra but for us was not an inconvenience. The garden units are in quiet surrounds and you may see a kangaroo or wallaby, birds and other wild life. It seemed we were the only ones there. There is a hotel within walking distance with basic meals or you can eat at the Resort (which we did not do) Also a petrol station with a shop for basics. It's a short drive to all that you would want to do or see in Canberra.
It would not suit anyone without transport.
